MA, Art Therapist, Therapist

Art has been the golden thread throughout my life. Long before becoming a therapist, I experienced firsthand how creativity can help us make sense of difficult experiences, express what feels impossible to put into words, and connect more deeply with ourselves and others. Today, as a part of the team at Restorative Psychotherapy, I bring this belief into my work every day, offering a safe, deeply compassionate space for clients to slow down, reflect, and heal.

I believe that healing is not always about finding answers—sometimes it begins simply with the courage to become curious. My practice is explicitly affirming and inclusive, and I am passionate about providing a soft landing and dedicated care for marginalized communities, including queer (LGBTQIA+) and neurodivergent (autistic) individuals.

Because traditional talk therapy isn't always a perfect fit—and words alone are not always enough—I integrate expressive arts and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). These approaches offer alternative, non-linear ways of exploring emotions, processing trauma, and understanding our stories without the pressure to mask or over-explain. Rest assured, creativity in therapy is never about artistic ability; it is entirely about expression, curiosity, and discovering new ways to make sense of your life.

Many of the clients I partner with at Restorative Psychotherapy are navigating major life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, or periods of uncertainty. My work is deeply grounded in authenticity and connection. I view therapy as a truly collaborative process and consider it a privilege to walk alongside you. You already carry immense wisdom, resilience, and possibility. Together, we will create the space to recognize those strengths and move toward a deeper, more restored understanding of yourself and your path forward.
